Nearing the end of NZ visit

Colleen picked us up at the airport, we were introduced to the 3 new kittens - scrapy, foofoo & other. Certainly a full house with Jane and Swiss-Chris and 3 kids staying too. Luckily Nikki took us on and so here we are staying at Nikki's. Walking distance to town, and surrounds.

Well we walked for miles around Wellington yesterday. Into town, up the cable car to Botanic gardens, wandered around - though no playground playing today. Still got a sore ankle from playing in the last one - wups. Had a quick beer in the backbenchers arms with all the puppets and then lunch in the park, in the shade as it was certainly a hot day.

The late afternoon was spent wandering along the harbour to Te Papa, were we only managed to do one floor. Today, will spend more time here.

Well I'd better get going having done not much this morning. Having lunch with Beck and Nigel from CWA and then catching up with Jase at Te Papa.
